Abraham “Dock” Murdock is currently the Field Supervisor and Lead Installer. He has been with the company since 2003 after 7 years in the Army. In 2003 he became a Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician (CDET) through the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA). In 2004 he attended the National Chimney Sweep Training School at the CSIA Tech Center in Plainsfield, IN where he became a Certified Chimney Sweep. In 2007 he became a Woodburning Specialist through the National Fireplace Institute (NFI) and an inspector certified through Fireplace Investigation, Research, and Education (FIRE). In 2010 he became an EPA Certified Lead Renovator. He is currently an apprentice in the Chimney Repairer program sponsored by Black Goose and approved by the the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry. He is a member of both the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) and the Virginia Association of Chimney and Hearth Professionals (VACHP). He believes that education is the key to doing anything and takes great pride in trying to provide quality, reliable service to each and every customer.
