Black Goose Chimney was started in 1992 by Jim Bostaph, after he spent eight years as a Realtor. For the first five years Jim ran the business himself, he wore ALL the hats. In 1997 Ike Rowland was hired on a part time status until he was honorably discharged. In November 1998 Ike became the first full time employee for Black Goose. The company worked out of Jim’s garage before moving to our present location on Blue Crab Road in the Oyster Point Park. Today we have eight full time employees, four vans, and an office and warehouse.
Jim’s business ethics and high standard of customer service has kept Black Goose one of the top rated chimney sweeps.
